Description
The video art "Try me" is symbolic and initially presents two dolls, a man and a woman who are put in a mincer machine. In modern Greece during the crisis, in the age of consumerism, a famous persona, Betty*, who is an actor-writer. In the video she poses a question to the viewer, if he/she is happy and asks him to choose between "yes" and "no" by putting the ball that has been given to the corresponding basket.
* Betty Vakalidou has been born a boy. She participated in the founding of the Gay Liberation Movement of Greece.
