Description
A portrait of Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgwick. This painting is part of the series ‘Angels’ (2007-2009). Lida is always inspired by the birds and they appear in several of her drawings. For the ‘Angels’ she also did several portraits of well known people, who’s life was fascinating but short, like Edie Sedwick, Frida Kahlo and Vladimir Mayakofski.
