Description
With dismemberments and reassemblies of bodies Stavros Diakoumis creates images that look “hyper-real” portraying what we avoid, our personal and social deformation.
This way he creates entities that besides their deformations, continue to exist. In his work, the mental and physical mutilations are not hidden but appear as constructs and results of collision with reality.
